Agatha Sejoe is the Communication Manager of the Debswana Pension Fund (DPF), currently based in Gaborone, Botswana. The DPF is the largest private pension fund in Botswana with assets under management of BWP6.8 billion and 12000 members as at 31 August 2017.
Sejoe has 10 years of work experience in the retirement services industry and an overall 19 years work experience as a Communication professional. Agatha is a member of both the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA) as a chartered Public Relations Practitioner (CPRP). She holds a BA Communication from UNISA, an MSc Strategic Management (University of Derby) and AAT (Botswana Accountancy College). Her past and current Board appointments include; PEO Venture Capital Fund, Botswana Pensions Society and Botswana Review on Ethics, Law & HIV/AIDS (BRELA). Sejoe also serves on several working committees of the DPF investment partnerships held in the Botswana property sector.
Under her communication leadership, Debswana Pension Fund has won many IRFA Communication Best Practice awards in the areas of Member education (2008) Community Engagement (2009), Pensioner Communication (2010), Stakeholder Engagement (2012), Communication Project (2014) and Best Communication Strategy (2014).
