The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA)

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) is a regulator established in terms of the Financial Sector Regulation Act no. 09 of 2017, responsible to oversee the conduct of financial institutions. The FSCA aims to enhance and support the efficiency and integrity of financial markets and to protect financial customers by promoting fair treatment by financial institutions, as well as providing financial customers with financial education.

To assist trustees in learning the principles of good governance and to get a better understanding of their role and function, the FSCA launched the online Trustee Training Toolkit (TTK) in 2011. To access the Trustee Training Toolkit visit
